Director of Business Development - David Jones David has more than thirty-five years experience in business and government ranging from construction, manufacturing, policy and administrative activities. In 1993, David was recruited by the State of California to establish programs and initiatives at the State level to assist manufacturers become more competitive. Co-founding TEIM in 2002, David has been working closely with companies throughout the US and World Wide helping them improve their processes, infrastructures and profitability. David's skills have enabled him to assist companies to achieve:
Process improvements at a printing plant that led to $1.2 million of additional capacity, without added cost. Reductions in work in process (WIP) resulting in $1million of available working capital. Design of new layouts and processes in numerous Kaizen events to dramatically improve flow and productivity. Develop Value stream maps to guide the organization to the next level of Lean Improve productivity by 400 % without additional staff. Change and Culture Specialist - Janice Whiting From Corporate America to International Conferences, Janice Whiting’s interactive, insightful and fun presentation style energizes and engages her audiences so they can take away information and skills they will remember and use. She is a dynamic business leader and presenter with a gift for facilitating interactive business discussions. Janice’s career has taken her across industries from Construction, Social Services and Manufacturing to Engineering Firms, working with all levels of management and leadership. Her early career was spent with the California Community College systems and local governmental agencies coaching individuals in areas of career and professional development. From there she ventured out into the for-profit sector as co-owner in a Micro Brewery for seven years. In addition, she continued to excel in management and leadership positions running millions of dollars in training and employee development programs. She has continued to expand her expertise in the areas of facilitation, human performance technology and organizational development through assisting numerous non-profit, governmental and for-profit organizations with: Organizational Development Leadership Development Change Management Strategic Planning She holds a B.A. in Sociology and her M.S. in Counseling. In addition to her consulting activities she has been actively involved as adjunct faculty with California State University, Sacramento. She has taught in the Counseling Masters and Education Departments and the College of Continuing Education in the areas of Management, Career Development, Workforce Development and Human Resources. She is also adjunct faculty with the University of California, Davis in the area of Management and Organizational Change. She focuses her primary energies on helping companies move into sustaining a lean culture.
