TEiM works closely with Sierra College which is one of the Centers for Applied Competitive Technologies (CACT). The focus of the CACT is to help and support small companies to adopt and integrate new technologies into their businesses. TEiM provides Lean Manufacturing support to the Sierra College CACT which includes training, assessments and demonstration centers. Training can take place onsite at a clients premises or at the Sierra College Gateway Center, Roseville, CA. Director of Business Development - David Jones

David has more than thirty years experience in the construction and manufacturing industries.

In 1993, David was recruited by the State of California to establish programs and initiatives at the State level to assist manufacturers become more competitive.

Co-founding TEIM in 2002, David has been working closely with companies throughout the US and World Wide helping them improve their processes, infrastructures and profitability.

David's recent accomplishments include:

• Process improvements at a printing plant that led to $1.2  million of additional capacity, without added cost. 

• Project manager for client Lean Implementation  which resulted in a $1million reduction in work in process (WIP).

• Facilitation of numerous  Kaizen events including the design of new layouts to improve flow and productivity.

• Recognition by US Government for outstanding achievement in the cause of Industrial Energy Efficiency

• Team leader with a project team who achieved incredible results and improved a client’s productivity by 400 %.

David is a member of the Institution of Electronics and Electrical Incorporated Engineers as an Incorporated Engineer. IEng. MIEIE.
